Bath Arsenal under-10 Tigers took a huge step towards the Mid Wilts Green Division League title with two solid wins at the weekend.

Louie set them on their way to a 5-0 win over Marshfield on Saturday by latching on to Harry’s fine pass, then James hit a hat-trick and Ben also got on the scoresheet.

Fine goalkeeping thwarted Tigers early on against a very competitive Castle Combe side on Sunday but Ben W’s sweet drive broke the deadlock.

Louie’s delicately-lobbed volley doubled the lead and Daniel drove forward before releasing Benji to chip the advancing keeper and make it 3-0.

Tigers now need to win three of their remaining five games to be crowned champions.

Meanwhile, Joe M and Fin C both scored twice as Bath Arsenal under-12s beat Peasedown 6-1 on a cold morning at the Sulis Club.

Charlie W-R’s corner set up Joe for the opener and Aden doubled the lead after Louis B’s shot had rebounded off the keeper, while Gabe wrapped up the scoring.

Harry P also made a couple of fine saves as Peasedown put up a fight.
