Find another way into Bath . . . crash blocks busy commuter route into city
Motorists are being asked to find alternative routes into Bath this morning after a two-vehicle crash in Bath Road, near the Freezinghill Lane junction north of Lansdown.
A number of roads in the area have been closed while emergency services deal with the accident, which happened just before 7am.

Fire crews worked to cut a man, believed to be in his 50s, from a vehicle and he has now been taken to the Royal United Hospital for treatment. There are no details of his injuries so far.
Police have asked drivers to be patient while they try to clear the scene and have advised they might need to find alternative ways in and out of the city.
