There are more vital local issues than hunting Mr Norris
Dan Norris MP has requested comments from his constituents on the ban on fox hunting introduced by his party in 2005 to ensure he is "still closely in touch" with his constituents.
This would be odd if it were only for the fact that there is one fox hunt in his North East Somerset constituency and that the Association of Chief Police Officers has confirmed hunting as a low-priority for police authorities.

However, given that his party has recently rejected a bid for funding to improve disabled access at Keynsham train station, that male unemployment in Bath and North East Somerset rose by 113 per cent in the year to January 8, that female unemployment was up by 185 per cent as measured by those claiming Job Seekers Allowance and that Mr Norris voted in favour of post office closures, perhaps he should focus on the issues affecting his constituents, rather than abusing his position to pursue an irrelevant vendetta based on personal prejudice?

There is a general consensus (based on myth) that Tony Blair and David Cameron are two opposites.
Nothing could be more from the truth.
Tony Blair has no concern about the suffering and cruelty inflicted on other species for human entertainment, profit and religious dogma. He was not in favour of the ban on Hunting with Dogs Bill (weak as it is) while David Cameron actually indulges in it.
Both pander to the masses by making a great issue of concern for little children, cancer research or anything that they think make them look good caring people, as do the many P&R machines of the so-called celebrities. Yet in reality they do not show any actual compassion, as do those well- informed intelligent compassionate people who do not try to justify abuse of human or none-human animals.
So we must be careful about voting for people like David Cameron who makes pretty speeches, by remembering that Tony Blair was voted in because he made pretty speeches, also beware of the change for change sake philosophy.

“On behalf of my wife and children I would like to thank Mr Norris for his courage. Protecting us from being ripped apart by blood-thirsty dogs and their enraged masters was always going to upset the gentry and their forelock-tugging sycophants. Even one hunt is one hunt too many as far as I am concerned.”

“Mr Norris, get a grip on reality...I'm more interested in the fact that this MP, Dan Norris, has claimed £4000 each year for food expenses ontop of his salary of £64,000. He also Claimed over £2000 for cleaning and over £9000 for mortgage payments. Then there was £6000 under the additional costs allowance. What is very interesting is that someone using the username "Dan Norris MP" went on Wikipedia and removed information about his expenses. Very spooky....! wonder who that was and why it was removed....??!!”
