Couples preparing to tie the knot can get a helping hand in organising their big day thanks to a new wedding planning course in Bath.

The City of Bath College is launching the classes to give people advice on everything from how to stick to a budget to what to look for when booking a venue.

The six-week course is being run by professional wedding planner and event caterer Fiona May, who said: "Your wedding day is one the biggest, most important days of your life, and one that you want to make sure goes smoothly.

"I have helped plan around 50 weddings now and I just adore it.
