Encore's horror story

The award winning Encore Northenders Theatre Company take on their biggest challenge to date next month when they present their first full scale musical. Little Shop of Horrors.

Greg Vere, Encore's artistic director says it has been quite a challenge to stage the production in Batheaston Church Hall, but the entire company got involved with a show they all really wanted to do.

The story centres around the meek and inept Seymour Krelborn, an assistant in a rundown florist's shop on Skid Row who is secretly in love with his co-worker Audrey. He discovers a new form of plant life and names it Audrey II after her.

The show plays at Batheaston church hall, School Lane, Northend from Wednesday July 1 to Saturday July 4, with performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets on 01225 812202, or www.encorenorthenders.com
