ADAM'S APPLE

Adam's Apple, a lively jazz trio made up of Adam Biggs on piano, Ben Groenbelt on double bass and Rob Rian on drums, has just produced another CD.

Entitled Be Still, it features their own unique brand of mainstream jazz treatment of popular hymns.

This follows their first album, Love Unknown and is an attractive collection of traditional church hymns, folk melodies and improvisations.

They appeared with the Silver Ring Choir last autumn, attracting a lot of interest and critical acclaim with their fresh spontaneous sound.

Leader Adam Biggs is an Australian who graduated in music from Adelaide University and now teaches both at University of Bath and Bath Spa University.
