At the special Secret Tea Party on Saturday, September 29 you can meet expert burlesque dancer, Dulcie Demure, erotic burlesque poet Muriel Lavendar and learn to dance with experts Hoppin' Mad.
Milsom Place is planning a Vintage Weekend with The Secret Tea Party on Saturday September 29 from 9.30am to 3.30pm and on Sunday from 10.30am to 5pm filling The Octagon with a free-entry, pop-up tearoom and vintage and handmade market.

There will be performers in and around The Octagon and Milsom Place to entertain and delight.
For this fab free weekend event head to the Octagon at Milsom Place, more chic than shabby, with a pop-up vintage tearoom – think Lyons Corner House comes to Bath. Browse the vintage and handmade market for vintage fashions, original designer work, pre-loved home wares and gorgeous vintage china. Get the retro look, with a fifties style makeover by The Pop up Parlour.
As the sun goes down join a special, seductive Secret Tea Party from 5pm to 8pm on the Saturday.
The exclusive ticket-only event treats you to an evening of fun and fizz, a burlesque show, a 'best dressed' competition, the chance to dance with distinction with Hoppin' Mad and three hours of vintage excitement. Makeovers will still be available as will a cocktail bar. Secret Tea Party Tickets cost £25.

Vintage stalls in the Octagon Vintage market include Racoon and Me with '70s, '80s and early '90s clothes, retro experts Refound Reloved, collectables officianado Delightfully Vintage, handmade vintage-inspired fashion from Diana Morrison Designs and Lavender House Designs offering upcycled furniture and homewares. Check out Random and Magpie Mimi for gorgeous handmade jewellery and accessories, and Ben Rothery's beautiful handmade cards.
Performance artists The Swimmers dressed in 1920s swimmers gear will be mingling with crowds and Bath's own Wind-Up Merchant, Nick Steel, will be on site playing vinyl from turntables in a vintage pram.
Vintage refreshments will be served up from the Secret Tea Party tea room, an old fashioned pop-corn machine and ice cream from a vintage bicycle, as a well as a fabulous selection of delicious cupcakes from other local bakers like Bath's newest cupcake store The Cupcakery. A female 1940s singing group will also entertain and amuse and check out the vintage car on Milsom Street.
