Get set for band tipped for the top
Featuring Alex Sears (vocals), Joe Marriner (guitar), Connor Fathers (guitar), Dan Clarke (drums) and Harry Norton (bass), there is a real a buzz surrounding Ready Set Low and the pop punks have already won a legion of fans with their Lost At Sea EP.
"Lost At Sea was recorded at Stakeout Studios in London with Jason Wilcock (Fightstar, You Me At Six, The Ghost Of A Thousand) over nine days late last year," said enigmatic frontman Alex.

"It turned out way better than expected, Jason really knows how to get the best sound out of a band!
"We write about the current events in our lives and the potential future of the band, as well as our determination to succeed.
"Writing music is definitely a good way to vent!
"We definitely have our own style but we mix elements of pop punk and hardcore.
"We've played in pop punk bands since we began playing and all have similar influences, such as bands like Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong and A Day To Remember.
"All five of us knew each other from previous bands and at the time we were all doing nothing musically, so we decided to start writing together.
"We'd love the opportunity to be able to play with some of the bands that we are influenced by and look up to.
"In the next year we really want to record another EP and get a few tours under our belts.
"At the end of the day we're happy just to be playing music together, but when good opportunities arise, we won't hesitate to progress to the next level!"
In such a relative short space of time Ready Set Low have firmly established themselves on the local scene and there is little doubt that the band is one of the area's brightest hopes.
"Musically, local bands are just as good as they always were, they just need the places to play and people to turn up!
"It's not as good as it was with venues closing like Bath's Porter Butt which was great for up and coming bands to play their first live shows, as was Terry's in Trowbridge.
"With them closing you have to go further away to get your music heard.
"It does seem like the Green Park Tavern may be filling their shoes in terms of a local venue that is cheap to hire and could attract a decent crowd."
It is at the Green Park Tavern where Ready Set Low play alongside the rather splendid The Arteries, Seven Crowns and Go Vegas tomorrow night.
So what can people expect at a Ready Set Low show?
"Bum notes and bad haircuts!" replied Alex.
"We have a load of shows lined up and we're in the process of booking a few tours for later this year."
