It's storytime for book-loving pupils
Children at a Bath school are learning about the art of storytelling as part of a project linked to the Bath Literature Festival.
The Paragon School is sponsoring the Aesop's Fables events at the festival next month.
Lindsay Robbetts, the school's head of literacy, said the idea was to strengthen links with the community and encourage pupils to engage with the stories.
She said: "These are wonderful tales that have delighted, entertained and educated children for centuries."
Children at The Paragon will be getting involved by taking part in a storytelling competition, making puppets of the animals in the tales and then using them to film and edit short movies.
The Literature Festival's Aesop's Fables events include:
â Fantastic Fables at the Holburne Museum, on Sunday, March 11, 10am to 1pm. Suitable for children aged eight to 11. The youngsters will be able to tour the museum and find animals hidden in the collection. Tickets are £8.
