AS IT HAPPENED: Grimsby Town 0 Bath City 2 (Holland 31, Edwards 52)

4:54pm - The full-time whistle blows and Bath City are deservedly into the second round of the FA Cup after a magnificent performance. They were the better team in all areas of the park. The players run to the away end to celebrate with the travelling fans - and they deserve all the plaudits they get.

4:52pm - An almighty scramble in the City box sees Chris Jones fire straight at Ryan Robinson from close-range before the ball is eventually cleared.

4:50pm - Four minutes of injury time stand between City and a famous victory.

4:48pm - City are looking threatening on the break and an excellent right-wing cross from Lewis Hogg is just inches away from the onrushing Stuart Douglas. The 216 travelling fans get a generous round of applause from the home supporters when the official attendance is announced.

4:47pm - Another tremendous header from the outstanding Chris Holland denies Grimsby from a corner.

4:46pm - Two excellent blocks in quick succession from Sekani Simpson and Chris Holland thwart Barry Conlon.

4:45pm - A rare lapse in concentration from the City defence sees Danny North latch on to a long ball down the left but his near-post shot is easily saved.

4:43pm - Last throw of the dice for Grimsby as Chris Jones comes on for Peter Bore but there is little sign of the hosts mounting a late charge.

4:39pm - Grimsby appeal for a penalty when Danny North clashes with Ryan Robinson but the keeper appeared to get to the ball first. Either way, the referee is not interested.

4:34pm - Michael Leary fires in a shot from distance which bounces off Ryan Robinson's chest but the keeper grabs the ball at the second attempt. Goalscorer Darren Edwards comes off to a standing ovation from the City fans to be replaced by Stuart Douglas.

4:30pm - A dangerous cross from Michael Leary picks out Barry Conlon at the back post but the Grimsby striker's diving header goes wide.

4:26pm - Adie Britton makes his first change of the afternoon, replacing Kaid Mohamed with Mike Perrott.

4:24pm - Grimsby send on Josh Fullier for Joe Widdowson.

4:22pm - Paul Linwood becomes the first player in the book after an agricultural challenge on Kaid Mohamed, which stops the City striker racing through on goal.

4:21pm - A slip by Grimsby's Danny Boshell allows Lewis Hogg to charge down the left and into the box. He slips a pass across to Kaid Mohamed, who takes a touch before turning and shooting straight at Nick Colgan from eight yards.

4:17pm - Chris Holland stretches out a leg to make an important interception as Danny North tries to put strike partner Barry Conlon through on goal. City are playing superbly all over the park and thoroughly deserve their two-goal advantage.

4:12pm - GOAL 0-2. City are in dream land after DARREN EDWARDS doubles their lead with a wonderful finish. There appears to be little danger when the ball falls to the striker in the left-hand corner of the penalty box but he produces an instant shot, catching keeper Nick Colgan by surprise as the ball curls into the top corner. It is Edwards' sixth goal in four FA Cup ties this season and he celebrates in front of the jubilant travelling supporters.

4:10pm - Lewis Hogg gets a final warning from the referee following a foul from behind on Bradley Wood. City fail to clear the subsequent free-kick, which drops invitingly for Danny North inside the box but he blazes his volley well over.

4:05pm - The second half kicks off with Grimsby having made a change up front, replacing the ineffective Jean Louis Akpro with Danny North.

3:50pm - The half-time whistle goes with City deservedly a goal to the good.

3:48pm - Two minutes of injury-time to be played.

3:44pm - City's players are working tirelessly to close Grimsby down. The Mariners look low on confidence and the home fans are quick to make their displeasure known.

3:40pm - Sido Jombati overelaborates on the edge of his own box and concedes a free-kick. City are caught cold when it is taken quickly but Jammal Shahin's cross is headed over by Paul Linwood.

3:36pm - A half-volley from from Danny Boshell is comfortably saved by Ryan Robinson.

3:35pm - Contrasting reactions to the goal from the two sets of fans - City chant 'We're going to Wembley' while the Mariners faithful respond with 'we're going down'.

3:33pm - GOAL 0-1. City get their reward for a dominant spell as Lewis Hogg whips in a free-kick from the right and defender CHRIS HOLLAND rises high to nod the ball into the corner of the net.

3:30pm - A good spell of pressure for the visitors continues as they win their first corner. Lewis Hogg's delivery picks out Gethin Jones but the defender, under pressure, can not direct his header towards goal.

3:28pm - Great chance for City when Mark Badman's incisive pass puts Darren Edwards through on goal but keeper Nick Colgan races off his line to block at the feet of the striker, who needs treatment before play can resume.

3:27pm - Darren Edwards is fouled twice in quick succession on the edge of the box but Lewis Hogg's free-kicks come to nothing.

3:23pm - First corner goes to Grimsby but City deal with it comfortably.

3:22pm Grimsby are relying on long balls forward to their pacy front two but City keeper Ryan Robinson is reading the game well at the moment, coming off his line to mop up any danger.

3:18pm - It's evenly matched on the field but City's travelling fans are winning the vocal battle off it, outsinging the home supporters who are already getting on their struggling team's back.

3:11pm - First real chance goes to Grimsby. Jammal Shahin curls in a deep cross and Barry Conlon pulls off the back of Chris Holland to get a free header but puts it over the bar.

3:02pm - City kick the game off in glorious sunshine following a minute's silence in honour of Remembrance Sunday.
