We are the real rural voice
For 40 years my wife and I have campaigned against abuse of 'non-human animals' whether for human entertainment, profit or religious dogma, as well as running our smallholding, as other caring rural people do.
Now the Countryside Alliance (alias 'cruel sports lobby') mostly coming from towns and cities have the gall to show concern for issues that are important to the rural dweller! Yet before the hunting ban they were notable by their absence. So, they speak for themselves, not for us in the rural community. The only support in rural areas come from cruel sports participants and those ignorant of what goes on.
But the decent people of town and country will win through.
Drag hunting is the only real break from a cruel pastime.
