£40k theft: four arrests
Four men were arrested by police after £40,000 of stolen tools were seized – hours before they had even been reported missing.
The items were found in a car and a van stopped by police on the A37 near Bath on Tuesday morning.

The Snap-on tools were reported stolen around four hours later by a tradesman based at the Burnett Farm business park in Keynsham.
Ben Barrett 27, from Inns Court Avenue in Bristol, and Jason Griffiths, 25, from Novers Lane in Bristol, have been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and were due before the city's magistrates yesterday. Two other men have been bailed.

The arrests were part of the Avon and Somerset force's Operation Relentless programme, which also saw two men arrested after the discovery of a small cannabis factory.
Officers raided the house in Weston last Thursday and found 16 cannabis plants being grown in a garden outhouse, along with cannabis production equipment.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with possessing a Class B controlled drug, and bailed to appear before Bath Youth Court on October 18. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B controlled drug, and possessing an offensive weapon, and bailed until November 14.
