Top pair show no Fear
APPROACH A storming back nine ensured Dennis Crombie and Ann Fear took the Bath Approach Seniors' Dennis Doherty Memorial Pairs trophy.
Dick Dancey, last year's winner, and Brian Wickham had established a commanding four-stroke lead at the half way stage over Colin Gamlin and Mike Hazel.

However, Crombie – who was in one of three pairs a shot further back – went round the second nine in level par.
That drew him and Fear level with Dancey and Wickham but they took the trophy on countback. Sue Norris, who went round in five under nett par, and Brian Woodford were just one stroke behind in third.
