Co-op aids pre-school

A donation of £479 from retail chain the Co-operative's Community Fund has helped the Bath-based Sunshine Pre- school buy indoor play equipment.

The fund is created by Co-op members, who choose to donate all, or part, of their twice-yearly dividend payments directly to the scheme. The money is then shared with local community projects and groups across the country.

Claire Morrish, from the Odd Down pre-school, said: "We are very grateful for this donation from The Co-operative as it has really helped us improve our indoor play area. We are still fundraising to complete the project but this has been a great step forward."
