Shop visit for fashion gurus

Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 13:10

bath: Fashion gurus and TV stars Trinny and Susannah will be visiting Bath to promote their latest book.

Entitled Who Do You Want To Be Today?, the book is the latest offering from the couple who shot to fame in the programme What Not To Wear.

It shows women how to create 12 different styles of dress depending on their mood.

The pair will be returning to Waterstone's for an unticketed signing and fans are advised to arrive early, because a similar event last year saw hundreds turn up.

As well as signing copies of the book, the couple are expected to hand out their unashamedly honest, possibly rude, fashion advice to queuing customers.

They will be in the city centre bookshop on Wednesday, December 3 at 5.30pm.

bath: Comedian Arthur Smith will be topping the bill at Bonbon's Bandstand cabaret at Widcombe Social Club next week.

The broadcaster, who is a regular on BBC 2's Grumpy Old Men and made a recent appearance on Stephen Fry's QI, has family in the area which is why he decided to do a gig in the city.

He will be performing on his birthday, Thursday, November 27, so organisers are expecting him to be on top form.

The show opens at 7.45pm and tickets are available from the Bath Festivals Box Office on 01225 463362.
