INTERNATIONAL GUITAR FESTIVAL GALA NIGHT

This will be a truly amazing night at Komedia on Wednesday for anyone who enjoys folk, classical or jazz guitar because it features three of the leading guitarists in each of these different forms of guitar – Martin Simpson, Martin Taylor and Tom Kerstens with his G Plus Ensemble.

Martin Simpson is a much loved English singer, songwriter and guitarist whose compelling voice and razor edge guitar style bring dramatic resonance to emotionally charged blues and fiercely emotional folk ballads.

Martin Taylor is one of the world's most respected solo jazz guitarists whose innovative style and charismatic presence has the power to charm and dazzle.

He has worked with many of the world's greatest musicians including the late Stephane Grapelli and has played alongside Martin Simpson many times in the past.

Tom Kerstens is an outstanding classical guitarist and with his G Plus Ensemble brings together an equally innovative group of musicians including the Tippett Quartet.
