This health and safety must be sorted out now
The public are always complaining about irresponsible dog owners allowing their dogs to foul public highways where children are playing and notices have been placed on Linear Park by the dog warden asking people to get in contact if they know which dog owner is allowing their dog to go to toilet without clearing it up.
I know we have had to experience major cutbacks to services from our local council, but surely what you see in this photograph (right) is a health and safety issue and should be dealt without delay.
I have lost count of the times that I have had to ring Council Connect about overflowing dog bins.
What is the point in being a responsible dog owner who deposits the excrement in the correct place if it is not being collected?

I again rang Council Connect last Thursday and this had still not been collected by Monday. Whose job is it to empty these bins? This must be on their jobs to do list every week.
Sustrans are spending money on bridges and trying to make the environment attractive for the public yet this eyesore is spoiling the lovely walk along Linear Park. Please can this issue be resolved immediately.
