No happy ending as University of Bath basketballers lose to Glasgow
A slow start, which saw them go 15 points adrift after only seven minutes, ultimately proved decisive as University of Bath men’s basketball 1sts lost to their Glasgow counterparts.
The hosts threw everything at their Scottish opponents after that, with Marc Rovira scoring 24 points as Bath closed to within four points with two minutes to go but they eventually lost 87-79.

Captain Tom Janicot, who scored 22 points, said: “It’s very, very tough to finish our season with defeat in a game we could have won.
“However we’ve had a great year overall, especially considering that we’ve only just won promotion. Even though this was my last ever BUCS game, I am confident the team can make it even further next season.”
