Sherlock Holmes: a drama in four acts by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and William GilletteSherlock Holmes is back and this time on stage in Sherlock Holmes: A Drama in Four Acts. Britain's greatest detective tackles his most complicated case yet when a woman, Alice, vanishes shortly after claiming to have incriminating information about a popular aristocrat. As Sherlock hunts for Alice he is foiled at every turn by the Larabees, a poisonous couple who will stop at nothing to keep the young woman quiet. As Holmes gets closer, the couple turn in desperation to James Moriarty, a criminal with an intellect to rival Sherlock's. What ensues is a complicated web of twists, turns, and well laid plans between the two great minds. Will Sherlock be able to convince Alice to give up the evidence? Will he be able to stop the Larabees' campaign? Can Moriarty entrap Sherlock? Find out with Bath University Student Theatre at The Mission Theatre! Bath University Student Theatre (BUST) is the student run theatre society at the University of Bath, winning 'Best Overall Student Group' at the University for 2011-2012.
