Chorus on form for special seasonal charity fundraiser
Directed by Linda Corcoran, the 50-strong male voice chorus will perform the very best popular songs from the past 100 years in their a capella, or unaccompanied, close harmony style.
Special features include a stunning arrangement of Bach's Fugue in D minor and sensitive sacred songs plus many other unforgettable show stoppers.
Winners of the 2008 UK Barbershop Awards, The Great Western Chorus have performed at many prestigious venues including The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, The London Coliseum, The Barbican, The Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Buxton Opera House and The Royal Albert Hall.
The chorus has also appeared on television with Russell Harty, Michael Barrymore, Esther Rantzen and with Harry Secombe on Songs of Praise.
With repertoire that ranges through Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro, Billie Holliday, Al Jolson to Billy Joel, The Everley Brothers, The Drifters and Madness, there will be Tickets, costing £5, can be reserved by calling 0777 5943622 and 07850 623574.
The concert will start at 7.30pm with doors opening at 7pm.
Profits from the evening will be donated to Bath based charities.
