What a disaster
Harold Newman typifies the arrogant selfish attitude of Bath Rugby supporters. The depressing thing is that his predictions will come true given that the trustees and councillors for some undeclared reasons are willing to blight the city forever by allowing a new stadium to be built on the Rec. The sad fact is that the planning committee is incapable of exercising any judgement even though it is clear to anyone with half a brain, to see what a disaster a stadium would be to the city of Bath.

“And at no point does she actually say WHY it would be a disaster. The scaremongering is starting to look, if possible, even MORe ridiculous than before.”

“Madam may I be so bold as to point out that of those who care about the Rec and express an interest the great majority are in favour of a replacement stadium.
After years of discussion and argument this is a fact that even you must recognise.
From a democratic viewpoint the stadium should have been started years ago.
You use the expression " arrogant selfish attitude " can I suggest that you look in the mirror ?”
