These are among the latest cases to be heard at Bath Magistrates' Court.

Carrie Francis, 31, of Uphill Drive, Larkhall, was fined £150 and given six penalty points for failing to give the police a driver's identification.

Lee Callaghan, 36, of Rosewarn Close, Bath, was fined £150, given six penalty points and disqualified from driving for six months for two counts of driving without insurance.

Stephanie Brand, 41, of Claverton Down, Bath, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £76.38 compensation for two counts of shoplifting.

Clive Courtney, 55, of St John's Court, Keynsham, was given a community order for two counts of assault by beating.

Philip Parsons, 34, of Shaws Way, Bath, was fined £175 and given three penalty points for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

Daniel Chiverton, 21, of The Weal, Upper Weston, was fined £250 and given eight penalty points for driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, without insurance and having a child under the age of 14 in the vehicle not wearing a seat belt.

Rebecca Jones, 38, of Entry Hill Park, Bath, was fined £60 and given three penalty points for speeding.

Philip Leney, 48, of Naish House, Shaws Way, Bath, was given a 13-week prison sentence for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Richard Packman, 31, of Harlech Close, Keynsham, was given an absolute discharge for keeping a vehicle without a valid licence.

Nicola Perry, 26, of Avonfield Avenue, Bradford on Avon, was fined £525 and given six penalty points for failing to give the police a driver's identification.
