The councillors who will be making those important decisions
As well as leader Councillor Crossley, the eight-strong cabinet team is completed by:
Former MP David Bellotti (Lyncombe), whose community resources brief takes in finance, revenues and benefits and corporate risk
Experienced charity social worker Simon Allen (Radstock), whose wellbeing portfolio covers adult health and social care
New council deputy leader Nathan Hartley (Peasedown St John) who is responsible for children, early years and youth, putting him in charge of young people's health commissioning and planning, schools and other learning, inclusion, and family support
Tim Ball (Twerton), whose homes and planning portfolio also means he is responsible for Bath's World Heritage Site credentials and policies on travellers
Deputy mayor-elect Cherry Beath (Combe Down), who as sustainable development cabinet member will be accountable for the authority's extensive property holdings, economic enterprise and business development, major projects and tourism, including heritage services and arts and festivals
David Dixon (Oldfield), who as neighbourhoods executive member will take charge of community safety, environmental services such as rubbish collection and street cleaning, leisure and culture including sport and libraries, and the natural environment
Keen cyclist Roger Symonds (Combe Down), who will be in charge of the political hot potato of transport, including the future of the BTP and parking.

“Can I please ask - How many people were on the Cabinet before the lib dems took over? I understand the amount of seats have increased - at a increased COST (Which of course is our tax payers money).”
