There is theatre to suit every taste at the Rondo over the coming week.

Tonight Miracle Theatre perform The Revenge of Rumpelstiltskin at 7pm with their usual blend of comedy, music and high-energy performance that is just right for all the family.

Then tomorrow at 8pm Play on Words perform Sister Queens.

Here we enter the private chambers of Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots to be swept along in a tale of passion and treachery.

The play shows the fight for the crown and the conflict between two cousins that changed history. You get a ringside seat to the prison and royal court, private chambers and public processions as you journey with the women who called themselves Sister Queens.

On Thursday, February 4 we learn about Russell Kane's Fakespeare: The Tragickal Saveings of King Nigel which starts at 8pm.

Shakespeare has been reinvented in modern form with King Nigel as an Essex banker who has lost everything.

On Friday, February 5 the Ministry of Entertainment bring us Goodbye Mrs Chips. After nearly 60 years of serving school dinners Mrs Chipping is hanging up her potato masher, egg mallet and gravy sieve for the last time. The show starts at 8pm.

Tickets for all Rondo productions can be booked on 01225 463362 or visit www.bathfestivals.org.uk.
