White Horse Training, based in South Parade, has received the Training Quality Standard (TQS) from the Learning and Skills Council.
The firm trains accountants and business professionals and is now one of only 60 other training providers in the country to receive the TQS.
White Horse underwent a three-month assessment for the accolade, which recognises delivery of training and how training providers meet employers' needs.
White Horse managing director Lynda Street said the firm prided itself on its close working relationship with clients.
She said: "We are passionate about employers enabling their people to achieve their potential and long-term career goals.
"Applying for the standard required us to put in some time but we think it is important to benchmark our services against others and to let employers know that we have achieved a high level of competence in delivering training and development solutions."
White Horse has been working with companies in Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham for more than 25 years.
