X Factor success for Peasedown St John singer
A singer who spent his childhood in Peasedown St John has impressed judges on X Factor and made it through to the live shows.
Jahmene Douglas, pictured, who now lives in Swindon, was picked as one of three boys for the live shows, which start on Saturday.

The 21-year-old impressed group judge Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger and guest judge Ne-Yo at a resort in Dubai with his performance of Titanium by David Guetta.
Jahmene, who works as a shelf stacker in Asda, was one of the early favourites to win the show, and has battled crippling nerves throughout the competition.

Episodes of BBC soap EastEnders that were filmed in Keynsham will be broadcast next month.
Filming, which took place at an empty shopping arcade in Temple Street, involved a spectacular stunt in which a car swerved out of control and crashed through a shop window, causing a huge explosion and fire ball.
The episodes will be shown at 8pm on Friday, November 23 and Monday, November 26.
Parts of Temple Street and Rock Road were closed at night to allow filming to take place at the former Peacocks store.
