World inspires a week of creation at Bath primary school
Pupils at a Bath primary school have been getting creative during an international arts week.
The youngsters from St Martin's Garden Primary School, in Odd Down, researched and learnt about art and artists from all over the world.
They produced work inspired by Egypt, Aboriginal art, Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso and a range of other topics.
Year 6 pupil Bethany gave the project the thumbs-up, saying it was good "because you can get involved with things not done before", while Tia, in Year 2, added that it was "really, really fun because we got to do sewing".

Head teacher Keith Ford said he had been pleased with the arts week and said he hoped it would become a regular feature in the school's calendar.
He said: "Building on our curriculum, international arts week has allowed pupils and staff to explore a variety of different media and focus on the process as well as a quality finished product.
"Definitely something we will be repeating."
At the end of the week the children put their talents on display with an exhibition for their parents.
