Workers thanked after flood drama
The owners of a care home hit by flooding thanked their staff and a charity that came to the rescue.
A faulty sprinkler system flooded Shockerwick Care Home near Box, and 30 residents had to be evacuated earlier this year.
Staff came in on their day off to help, and worked from a care home in Bristol where residents of the Bupa home were placed for five days.
A presentation was held to thank them for their dedication, and regional director Mark Elliot presented a cheque to St John Ambulance for its role in the evacuation.
