Work started today to transform Keynsham town centre.
New shops and restaurants, a new library, streets, spaces for markets and a one-stop shop for local services will be created in the £34 million scheme.
And around 50 local people will benefit from new jobs, training, and education opportunities over the next two years through the construction work on Bath and North East Somerset Council’s regeneration of the area around the town hall.
The employment and skills arrangements agreed by the authority with construction firm Willmott Dixon were announced today.
