Women learn more about college
A group of women from the Bath Islamic Society have been enjoying taster sessions in a number of different learning activities provided by the City of Bath College.
The group have attended sessions in silk-painting and yoga run by the college's adult community learning team.

Most recently they tried their hand at sewing as part of a creative workshop.
The team has been working with the society to encourage its members to take greater advantage of the learning opportunities at the college.

Community learning development worker Christina Chow said: "Some people can find approaching big institutions intimidating – especially if it means understanding new processes and perhaps even a new language.
"The adult community learning team has been working with the Bath Islamic Society to support their members to sample the wide variety of excellent learning opportunities that the college provides.
"The women have enjoyed their taster sessions and I know their first visit to the college was very positive."
