Woman, 20, mugged in London Road Bath handbag snatch
A 20-year-old woman has had her handbag snatched in Bath.
Bath police are appealing for witnesses and information after the incident in which the woman was mugged on one of the city’s busiest roads on Friday night.

The mugger struck as the woman was walking from Larkhall to the Londis supermarket in London Road at 9.25pm.
The man ran past her and grabbed the bag from her shoulder. A second man then ran past and both then made off towards the city centre and were lost to sight.

The woman was not injured. Her bag, a vintage tan-coloured Longchamps rucksack style, contained a iPhone, foreign bank cards and groceries.
The man who stole the bag is described as white, around 25 years old, 6ft tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a red jacket that was open, a grey T-shirt and a black beanie hat. He had a thick, shiny silver chain around his neck.
The second man is of mixed heritage, described as quite dark-skinned, around 18-19 years old. 5ft 10ins tall and of lean, athletic build.
