Orphaned at an early age when a landmine kills his father in the middle of the Moroccan desert, dreamer Bazil (Dany Boon) suffers a second tragedy when he is caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting.

He wakes with a bullet lodged in his brain, leaving him teetering precariously on the brink of death, and one false move could be his last. Homeless and alone in the world, Bazil discovers a menagerie of misfits, who fashion discarded materials into useful items from a subterranean base in a junkyard.
