BOB SKELETON Bath's Amy Williams will be in World Cup action at Winterberg in Germany tomorrow as she looks to improve on last weekend's 10th-place finish at Cesana, Italy.

Williams, who trains at the University of Bath, recorded a best time of 1:59.47mins.

That result leaves her fifth in the overall FIBT world rankings behind British team-mate Shelley Rudman, who struck gold at Cesana – the venue where she won a silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

It was Rudman's second gold in three events this season, while Donna Creighton was 16th after producing the only sub-five second starts of the day.

Kristan Bromley was the highest placed Brit in the men's race, one ahead of 17th-placed Adam Pengilly. Andy Wood finished 21st.
