Parents and teachers from schools in Widcombe will be holding a women-only pampering evening to help raise money for new facilities.

Tonight’s event, which has been organised by the joint PTA for the infant and junior schools, will see guests given the chance to sample a range of beauty treatments.

The event will help fund an outdoor classroom and picnic area in the junior school while also helping to fund a community arts week at the infant school.

There will be a team of beauticians to offer hair makeovers to willing volunteers.

There will also be a belly dancing demonstration and workshop from dancer Victoria Bone.

The evening will be held from 8pm at the junior school - and not as Artizan, as stated in this week's Chronicle.

Tickets are available on the door for £5 and will include a free glass of wine and a goody bag.
