No specific moves are required and each clip opens with one dancer gently bopping away to Baauer's "Harlem Shake" before the bassline drops and the scene cuts to everyone in the room frantically throwing themselves around.

Baauer released their dance track last year but only now has it gone viral. Dozens of people from office workers to firemen have filmed themselves doing The Harlem Shake, which is tipped to be overtaking Gangnam Style, with each video stranger and wilder than the last.

Take a look at Bath University's take on the Harlem Shake.

“I don't feel any need to put them down. They are doing their best in the current circumstances. I just feel sorry for them, and I hope things will improve for their job prospects in the future. We just made do with a few pints of **** Watney's Starlight at parties.”

“Why do students act like prats these days? In my day (early 60's) we left school and went straight into jobs. There was very little unemployement then. I do feel sorry for them now. What went wrong? As an OAP I do feel a bit smug, although I am not proud of it.”
