Bath musician Kelvin Thomas, 93, prepares for St David's Day concert
Musician Kelvin Thomas says he isn't as happy with his voice as he used to be.
But at the grand old age of 93, he's happy to exercise his vocal chords – and his other musical skills – in a good cause.

The singer, conductor and musician will be presenting a concert for his beloved Bathampton Methodist Church next month.
The Welshman, pictured right, who with his mother founded the Silver Ring Choir in Bath in 1950, has picked St David's Day for the My Life of Music event.

Kelvin, who was given the MBE for services to music, began singing as a boy soprano at the age of five.
The father of five conducted the Silver Ring Choir until 1990, and then went on to found the Bradford on Avon Choral Society which he conducted for a further eight years.
The former coal merchant who lives in Bathampton has been a member of the church since moving to Bath in 1926.
The concert at the church at 7pm on March 1 will raise money for the building, with its extensive programme including a variety of music and poetry from Kelvin's life, featuring various recordings of his voice throughout his career, and the history of the Silver Ring.
Mr Thomas is also a member of Bath's twinning movement and has been involved with the links between Kaposvar, Aix en Provence, Alkmaar and Bath for many years.
He said: "St David's Day seemed absolutely the right time to give this concert and to invite people to hear some magical music. I am delighted I am able to help with the much needed fundraising for Bathampton Methodist Church – it is as close to my heart as music and I do hope as many people as possible will come along to listen."
He is planning to sing O Rest in the Lord from Mendelssohn's Elijah.
"I never dreamed I would still be singing after all these years.
"When I was a young man of 80, I was singing very well, but at 93 I'm not so happy with it. But I do criticise myself more than anyone else."
The musical extravaganza, which also includes a Welsh supper, is being supported by local events company FAB! and tickets are on sale, but expected to sell out quickly.
