Transmitter problems leave Bath viewers with no television signal
Reception problems with the Bath and Mendip transmitter has left people in the city with no television signal today.
The BBC’s website confirms that the Digital TV transmitter has been off from 5.13am this morning but others have reported having no reception on other channels either.

Residents in Bath have reported television reception problems this morning
Bath residents have taken to Twitter to report the issues, with many areas affected including Oldfield Park and the city centre.
A BBC spokesperson said: “The TV transmitter at Bath developed a fault this morning which has affected services including BBC1, BBC2, CBBC, CBeebies and BBC News, as well as BBC radio channels on Freeview.

“The Mendip Transmitters outage issue have been rectified and all BBC reception are currently back to normal.
There have been reception issues for the ITV Channels for over a Week ( "no reception on other channels either" ) are not the fault of the Broadcasters. The lack of reception of ITV Channels in the Bath area are mainly due to SOMER Housing Community Trusts inadequate TV Reception System.”
