Town's main street to close for jubilee
The main street through Keynsham is to be shut to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee.
The normally busy High Street will be closed for a party on Sunday, June 3.
-

It will follow an 11am service at St John's Parish Church in which the Queen's 60 years on the throne will be celebrated and prayers offered for her and the town.
There will be tables and chairs to seat 400 people with music, entertainment and competitions for people of all ages.
Shops and businesses are expected to open, offering food, refreshments and other products.
Access to seating will be available from 12.30pm on a first-come, first-served basis with stewards on hand to assist people, who can bring their own picnics or buy food locally.
Organisers are limited to 400 for licensing reasons but expect people to come and go, freeing up space.
Town clerk Jo Swift said: "The event is by Keynsham residents for Keynsham residents."
Organisers are also looking for local musical talent to busk around the tables at selected times in between the broadcast of musical highlights from the decades.
Ms Swift added: "There is also a need, as always, for volunteers, to ensure the event is a success.
"Even if you could only assist for 30 minutes or so, you could help to make the difference."
The celebration is being supported by the town council, Keynsham Business Association, and Keynsham Churches Together and aims to strengthen community spirit.

Meanwhile, plans have been unveiled for an exhibition of Peasedown St John's history to help mark the jubilee in the village.
The annual Peasedown Party in the Park will be held earlier than usual, taking the form of a jubilee party on June 4 from noon to 7pm at Beacon Field.
Organisers are looking for help with printing of promotional materials and posters, hire of marquees or other equipment used on site, as well as material for the exhibition.
