“I felt like I had good speed all day on a slippery and difficult track. The heat races were good, giving me fourth gate pick for the final.
“I messed up a bit on the start but worked my way forward from seventh into fourth by halfway. I was just behind the leaders when I caught my front brake on a tough block going down.
“It was a shame as I felt I could have got onto the podium but that's AX racing. It was another great atmosphere and my bike was perfect again, I’m loving the new 350.”
The series resumes at Birmingham’s LG Arena on Saturday, February 2.
