Tickets going fast for Bath Literature Festival
Book lovers are being urged to hurry if they want to pick up tickets for this year's Bath Literature Festival.
The event, which features appearances from Harry Potter author JK Rowling and double Booker Prize winner Hilary Mantel, has seen record- breaking advance ticket sales.
This is the first year that the festival had teamed up with the Chronicle to offer readers an opportunity to buy tickets ahead of general release on January 9.
Since then, bookings have proved highly popular, although there are still some spaces available event at the headline event, the visit of JK Rowling.

Bath Festivals' chief executive Belinda Kidd said they had been overwhelmed by the response.
She said: "This year's festival brings some of the greatest living writers and thinkers to Bath. Chronicle readers responded so positively to the priority booking offer in the paper in early January that it has had an enormous impact on sales."
The festival, which is sponsored by The Independent, starts on March 1 and runs for ten days.
Artists and writers who will be in attendance also include P.D. James, Pat Barker, Kate Mosse, Darcey Bussell, Tracy Chevalier, Will Gompertz, Gavin Esler and Polly Toynbee.
