Team Bath's Samantha Murray wins Aegon GB title
Team Bath MCTA tennis player Samantha Murray has won the Aegon GB Pro-Series Glasgow title.
Murray, 25, beat seventh seed Alison Van Uytvanck of Belgium 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 in the final to claim the first Challenger event title for a Team Bath player.
Unseeded Murray recorded some impressive scalps on her way to the final with a straight-sets victory over second seeded Cristina-Andreea Mitu the highlight.
As well as victory over the Romanian, Murray also beat fifth-seeded Lithuanian Stephanie Vogt on her way to her first title at a Futures level.
