ICIA, University of Bath hosts the award-winning Barcelona-born Rafael Bonachela and his company for its first visit to Bath this Sunday at 7pm.

Bonachela Dance Company presents The Land of Yes and The Land of No – the first new work created by Bonachela for his UK company since being appointed artistic director of Sydney Dance Company in November 2008.

The piece features six first-rate dancers including Amy Hollingsworth, who was recently nominated for the Outstanding Female Performance (modern) category for the Critics' Circle National Dance Awards 2009. The Land of Yes and The Land of No received its UK premiere at the Southbank Centre in September last year before touring nationally.

Bonachela appeared on BBC1's So You Think You Can Dance on Saturday, January 16, choreographing a duet for one of the remaining couples.
