Discount clothing chain TK Maxx will open its new Bath store in May.

“Aldi and a 99p shop too please .Bath could certainly do with a Primarks. It would save all the mums with children having to bus it over to Bristol to buy clothing for their youngsters.
My daughter lives in Radstock and buys all her childrens clothes in Primark,Bristol and there are always people ladened down with Primark bags on the X39 bus from Bristol to Bath.”

“TK Maxx is one of the few large operators currently benefiting from free labour at taxpayers' expense via the Workfare programme.

As I am already subsidising them against my will, they will not be receiving any further custom from me or my family. I strongly urge anyone else who sees a problem with large multinationals receiving state benefits to do the same.”

“Bath used to be such a safe respectable place to live...now we have poundland....TK Maxx...and lidl on the way...no doubt the criminal element who frequent these shops will not be far behind. (I'm joking)”
