Swimmer Michael Jamieson among Team Bath athlete of the month winners
Swimmers Michael Jamieson and Anne Bochmann were among the award-winners when Team Bath’s latest athletes of the month picked up their prizes.
The Bath Intensive Training Centre duo received the joint awards for November and December, with pistol shooter Kristian Callaghan collecting the men’s January award and England netballer Pamela Cookey the women’s equivalent.

Oakley and Ellis and Killpatrick Opticians of New Bond Street sponsor the awards, with every winner receiving a piece of Oakley eyewear and a framed certificate.
Jamieson’s award came after he won silver in the 200m breaststroke at the World Short Course Championships and a hat-trick of titles at the British Universities and Colleges Sport Championships.

Pharmacy student Bochmann won gold in the 200m freestyle as well as silver and bronze relay medals in the latter event.
Callaghan took gold and bronze medal for Great Britain at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney last month, while Cookey captained England’s netball team to a landmark 3-0 series victory over world champions Australia.
