Stothert & Pitt ladies edge out visiting Cardiff University
Two second-half scores from Heidi Silcox helped Stothert & Pitt ladies earn a 26-25 victory over Cardiff University at Adamsfield.
The visitors opened the scoring before Katy Wiseman replied with her first try in eight years of playing rugby.
A further try for each side followed in an even first half.
Despite some great runs and tackling by Flic Kierle, Tash Dickerson and Alice Edmunds, Cardiff scored twice more to gain the advantage after the break.

Silcox then ran in a quick-fire double – her first try coming from a fabulous run – with three conversions from Alice Harding making sure of a narrow success.
