Stothert & Pitt completed a double over Roper Rhodes Bathrooms Bath & District Saturday League Division 1 champions AFC Durbin United with a 3-2 away success.

Gary Pearcy struck twice and John Dolman once in a strong second-half performance for the Cranes, who will be firmly in the title reckoning if they win their games in hand. Captain Shane Hall produced a man-of-the-match display.

Grey and Archer were on target for a Durbin side who have now lost four times this term, having completed the 2011-12 season unbeaten.

Trowbridge House missed out on the chance to draw level on points with inactive Odd Down at the top as their clash at Old Crown Weston finished 5-5.

Two Robinson goals and one apiece from Lewington, Burrell and Isaacs made up House’s nap hand, while Athay, Avery, Veal, Wood and Willacombe were Old Crown’s marksmen.

Tuke’s treble earned bottom-of-the-table Aces their first win of the season as they defeated fellow strugglers Full Moon 3-1.

Sibley also hit a hat-trick for Division 2 leaders Newbridge as they beat Aces Reserves 3-0 to make it eight wins out of eight in the league this term.
