Station goes on air
A new community radio station for Bath will start broadcasting on Monday.
After the final stages of testing and training, Bath City Sound will be putting out programmes on the internet from 11am, from studios at the Pavilion.
Led by onetime Bath FM breakfast show host Ian Dore, the line-up includes Bath-based TV presenter Charlie Vernon, former BBC news journalist Rebecca Waters, former head boy of Culverhay School and Olympic Torch carrier James Eynon; and Matthew "Matt the Splatt" Clifford, who also appeared on Bath FM.
Mr Dore said: "It's taken a long time to get to where we all wanted to be, but if a job is worth doing it's worth doing well. Everyone acknowledges that and although it's been a challenging few months, we are ready to rock and roll with some fine talent, oodles of support and plenty of passion."
