St Julian's School choir sing for St John's Hospital almshouses residents
A special Christingle service was celebrated at a little-known city centre church.
The event at St Michael's Within, saw residents, trustees and staff at the St John's Hospital almshouses charity joining the choir of St Julian's School at Wellow, conducted by Shean Bowers, assistant musical director of Bath Abbey.

The Wellow school choir sang festive carols and made a collection for a visit to Germany next year. They then moved on to the abbey, where they continued their fundraising activities, to raise more money for their choral tour of Cologne in the spring.
Verger Tim Egan said: "Children singing in the chapel is always so welcome. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the service and enjoyed chatting to the children afterwards."
