Skipper Cobb at the double for Combe Down against Melksham
After a frustrating few weeks, Combe Down 2nds returned to action with a welcome 17-12 win at Melksham in Dorset & Wilts 2 North.
Captain Andy Bryant, centre Sim Fenton-Springer, prop Stuart Flint and scrum-half Tom White produced inspirational performances and head coach Dave Cobb pulled on his boots to show the way with two tries.

“The second team is starting to really gel,” commented Cobb. “We had two debutants on Saturday who acquitted themselves very well, while Combe Down veterans such as Leon Asmar and Dave Nesbitt showed how much this club means to them.”
