Avonvale youngsters kick off the new season with their registration day on Sunday.

The club is running eight age groups in 2010-11, from under-7s to 12s in mini rugby, as well as junior sides at under-13s and 15s levels.

All teams will be looked after by fully-qualified coaches and will play matches against many local clubs throughout the season, as well as enjoying training sessions between fixtures.

Sunday's event kicks off at 10am and there will be a first training session for all players, as well as a chance for parents to discuss their child's hopes for the season with the coaching staff.

Training and playing kit will be available to purchase in the clubhouse, along with refreshments for parents and children.

New players wishing to join the club are encouraged to come along on the day and meet up with the appropriate coaches and other children in their age group.
